Tunisian Crochet is cross between knitting and crochet and results in a fabric that doesn't look like either. It is fun and fast and a nice addition to your knitting skills. We blogged about it here.

The pattern includes the hat, scarf and blanket, as well as detailed 'how to' instructions and photos. It's a great knit-while-you-chat project.
  • Skills
    You do not need to know how to crochet to make this hat. There are detailed instructions. The brim is knit in a 1x1 rib.
  • Gauge/Yarn
    The gauge for this project is 2.5 sts per 1".
    The project uses 7 balls for small and 11 balls for the sample shown.

  • Difficulty
    This project is good for any knitter who likes to try new things. Tunisian Knitting makes a great first craft project for non-knitters but we would recommend a scarf to start with.
  • Sizes
    This blanket it 30" x 38". However the only limit on size is the length of your Tunisian Hook. They sell them with cord extensions that allow for wider projects such s this one.
  • Notions
    A long Tunisian Crochet Hook Size O.
